Description
Kytren Rondelle is a pure goat’s milk cheese in a round
shape with a hole in the centre which reflects a traditional
French Style matured chevre. It is dusted in grapevine ash
and coated in penicilium camemberti, giving it a light
fluffy white exterior. With age it gets softer and creamier,
and more intense in flavour, but mostly it is served when
the cheese is approximately 3 weeks of age so the texture
is still light and soft and the flavour not overpowering.
Good herd management means high quality milk, which
in turn gives a fresh, delicate and refined tasting cheese
