Giovanni Pazienza’s entrepreneurship resulted in the establishment of Cara Nonna, a small fresh pasta factory, in 1989. The Cara Nonna pasta factory is located in the heart of Tavoliere delle Puglie (famous for the remarkable production of high quality wheats), and the company was converted to produce dry pasta using Apulian wheat shortly after.
“Fettuccine Tricolori” by Cara Nonna Pasta is a three-color hand-made pasta. Water and durum wheat are used in its production, and natural ingredients such as spinach and tomatoes are used for colouring. The pasta’s surface is ideal for soaking up sauce or olive oil. It is recommended to boil the dish in salted water for 7-8 minutes in order for it to reach its ideal condition.
