Giovanni Pazienza’s entrepreneurship resulted in the establishment of Cara Nonna, a small fresh pasta factory, in 1989. The Cara Nonna pasta factory is located in the heart of Tavoliere delle Puglie (famous for the remarkable production of high quality wheats), and the company was converted to produce dry pasta using Apulian wheat shortly after.
Cara Nonna Fettuccine Pasta is a hand-made pasta that is always a favourite. It is made with water and Italian durum wheat from the Puglia region of Italy. The European Union has certified this Fettuccine as organic. The surface of the pasta is ideal for soaking up sauce or olive oil. It is recommended that the dish be boiled in salted water for 7-8 minutes to achieve its ideal condition.
